Join MongoDB for a kickoff celebration for Hacktoberfest!
MongoDB is excited to welcome anyone interested in contributing to open source. Our participation in Digital Ocean’s Hacktoberfest focuses on the Officers’ Fishery Information Sharing Hub (O-FISH) project.
We have contribution opportunities for developers at all levels - from bug fixes and documentation; to tweaks to existing features; to completely new features.
All participants will receive an awesome MongoDB swag and other cool incentives. You won't want to miss it!
All meetings will be on Zoom (please make sure to install before, if needed).
Sheeri spent the first 17 years of her career as a systems administrator and MySQL database administrator, managing both data and people at companies such as The Pythian Group (consulting), Mozilla, and Salesforce. She has spent a lot of time in the database community: presenting, writing, teaching, writing, podcasting, writing, and organizing.
Andrew Morgan
MongoDB
Andrew has built database software throughout his career - including development, product management, and product marketing. He started his career developing real-time database software before eventually moving into product management for MySQL/Oracle. In 2015, he jumped at the chance to join MongoDB as a product marketeer, and he's since wormed my way back into software development. His current role is to develop and build content around mobile apps using Realm.
